Time and Picking up Lift Tickets: All lift tickets should be picked up on the 2nd floor of the main ski lodge at Alpine. A parent volunteer will be seated at one of the tables (look for the St. Patrick school table sign). You can pick up your lift ticket as early as 4:00pm on Friday. Ski club volunteers will be available in the lodge from 4:00 pm until 8:30pm. If you are going to be picking up your lift ticket later than 5:30pm please notify one of the parent volunteers. These parent volunteers are not out on the hills with the kids. Please feel free to call one of us with any questions or concerns. Your children may ski until Alpine closes if you would like, (11pm) however, the volunteers are only available in the Lodge until 8:30 pm. No children under the age of 18 should be left alone and unsupervised . Slopes are closed for grooming between 5:30 and 6:00. Lessons for snowboarding line up at 6:00 pm. Lessons for skiers at line up 6:15 pm.

All area lift tickets (no restrictions on what slopes and lifts you can use) are $30 and do not include a lesson, a lesson can be added for $11 (Beginner-Intermediate) or $16 (Advanced/Expert) (NEW PRICING THIS YEAR).

Patch program lift tickets/lessons (increase this year) are $32.00 for beginner thru intermediate and $37.00 for advanced/expert. (specify on order form ski or snowboard). The Patch program is for children 7-18 yrs old. Students under seven years are not allowed in the Patch program regardless of what anyone tells you or what Alpine’s policies were years prior. There are no exceptions and this is strictly enforced.

To participate in the patch program, returning students at the beginning of each season are required to retake the last level earned. This is a review to assure that you have retained skills required for that level. Afterwards, you need to purchase the current year patch for $2.00. Students just entering the patch program must begin at beginner hill.

Upon achieving the skill level of the lesson taken, students are required to bring their grading card to the Instruction Center Desk and purchase the patches for the skill level achieved in the lesson This patch determines which slopes and lifts the student is allowed to ski/snowboard on. The student will also receive a progress card that will get punched when patches are purchased. These cards must coincide with the patches.

Each student must wear all the patches they have earned, not just the patch for their current level. Patches are to be worn on the jacket, and either sewn directly to the jacket or on an armband that can be purchased in the main office or at the Instruction Center Desk for $3.00 each. If you don’t have your patches or forgot your patches you will only be allowed on beginner hill.

There will be spot-checking for the lifts. if a student is on the wrong lift they will be warned by having the corner of their lift ticket torn and directed to the proper lift. if a student is found on the wrong lift a second time, they will have their entire lift ticket removed and lose their skiing/boarding privileges for that evening. please note that we have been advised that this will be strictly enforced by Alpine.

Rental prices: Ski rental and snowboard rental is $19.00 for patch program ticket holders. All area ticket holders ski and snowboard rental is $21.00. Helmet rental is $10.00 for all. St. Patrick School requires all of our ski club participants to wear a helmet for their safety.

Food: Food is available for purchase at Alpine or you may bring a sack lunch. Alpine no longer allows the following items to be brought into the lodge: pizza boxes, crockpots, outside commercial or coolers. Violators are subject to $100.00 fine assessed by Alpine Valley.

Ski club cancellation: If ski club has to be canceled for any reason all those who sent their payment will be called.

Snow day: If school is closed due to the weather on Friday we will still have ski club. If school is closed on Thursday please wait until first thing Friday morning to send in your ski club payment.
